The governing positions in practically all district election commissions of the Brest region are occupied by representatives of the local executive authorities.

As a rule, the positions of the chairperson, deputy chairperson and secretary are occupied by officers of the ideological or organizational and personnel departments of executive committees.

The most eloquent situation can be observed in the Stolin district, where the territorial election commission is headed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Stolin District Executive Committee Ryhor Pratasavitski, and the secretary is the main specialist of the organizational and personnel department of the same committee, Taisiya Bahatka.  The governing positions in the Malaryta District Election Commission are occupied by the head of the organizational and personnel department, the head of the statistics department and the secretary of the chairperson of the executive committee. A similar situation can be observed in Kamianets, where the election commission is headed by the chairperson of the education department, the head of the organizational and personnel department and the main specialist of the public utilities department of the executive committee.
