On 1 October the Biaroza District Executive Committee adopted a ruling to change the list of the places banned for electoral picketing.

The new ruling extended the opportunities for picketing. Now it is forbidden to hold pickets at a distance of less than 50 meters from the building of local administration, the state institutions that are responsible for the defense and security of the country and water, heating and electriciy enterprises.

This document also abolishes the ruling of 20 September 2010, according to which pickets were banned at a distance less than 100 meters from all aforementioned objects, as well as schools, shops, hospitals, polyclinics, transport stations and enterprises (which meant that pickets couldn’t be held almost anywhere in Biaroza).
