On 6 October the Barysau activists of the electoral team of the representative of the United Civil Party Yaraslau Ramanchuk held their first pickets to collect signatures in support of nomination of his candidacy for the presidential election. The UCP Chairperson Anatol Liabedzka and Mr. Ramanchuk came to these actions to talk with the electors.

One of the pickets was held near the Trading House (not far from the Barysau Town Executive Committee), and the other – near the Vesta supermarket.

By the way, when Liabedzka and Ramanchuk arrived at the supermarket, it was suddenly closed, allegedly for ‘technical reasons’. However, it didn’t hinder to the picketers, as the people who couldn’t get in the supermarket started gathering near the picket. On seeing this, the supermarket administration hasted to liquidate the ‘technical reasons’ and open the shop.
