Independent journalist Dzmitry Rastayeu has reportedly been fired by the editorial board of the Vecherny Bobruisk state-run newspaper, following a critical article on the current election campaign published by the Belgazeta independent weekly.
The journalist also says that the local executive authorities might have been especially enraged by his recent photo coverage of canvassing activities published on the Vecherny Bobruisk web-site bobruisk.ru.
