Orsha town election commission doesn’t announce number of signatures passed for each candidate
Until
now, it is impossible to find how many signatures in support of each candidate
for president were passed to the Orsha town election commission.
The acts about the number of signatures that aren’t subject to verification
were composed at the commission sitting on Saturday 30 October,
which lasted for about four hours. As a result, the commission Chairperson Valiantsin
Parkhomenka announced the number of signatures for each candidate that had been
excluded by the signature collectors, as well as the number of signatures of
citizens who do not live in the town of Orsha,
that’s why their signatures are not subject to verification.
As a result, the greatest loss, 232 signatures, was
suffered by the campaign team of Dzmitry Us, and the smallest – the teams of Aliaksandr
Lukashenka and Viktar Tsiareshchanka, 16 and 3 signatures respectively.
There’s another fact that causes concern – the commission didn’t announce the
number of the signatures that were passed in support of each candidate (from
which the aforementioned number of rejected signatures needs to be subtracted).
The coordinators of the campaign teams are anxious about it, the more that the Orsha District Election Commission openly
voiced all figures.
The meeting was attended by observers Siarhei Trafimau and
Ihar Kazmerchak who had been nominated by a group of voters.
