Ales Bialiatski addressed Presidential Administration and Prosecutor General
The
vice-President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) Ales
Bialiatski addressed the Prosecutor General of Belarus, Ryhor Vasilevich, and
the Presidential Administration of Belarus.
The human rights defender reminds the authorities about the official statement
of the International Federation of Human Rights concerning the situation of
human rights and pressurization of the Belarusian citizens who represent
anti-fascist and anarchist movements in Belarus. He calls on the
authorities to stop unlawful actions and abstain from violating human rights
during the investigation of the related criminal cases.
Ales Bialiatski is sure that the harassment of the activists and violations of
the Belarusian laws during the investigation of high profile cases do harm to
the international authority of our country.
Mr. Bialiatski also attached a copy of the FIDH
statement to his address.
