Khotsimsk: nominees of NGO BPF ‘Adradzhenne’ weren’t included in precinct election commissions
The
sitting of the Khotsimsk District Executive Committee on formation of the
precinct election commission took place at 9.30 a.m. on 1 October.
’I was invited to this sitting, that’s why I had the opportunity to watch the
formation of the precinct commissions. BPF Adradzhenne
nominated two representatives – Siarhei Petrazhytski was nominated to the
commission of the Leninski precinct #11 and Vasil Zemliakou – to the commission
of the Nabiarezhny precinct #3. However, the protocol about their nomination
wasn’t considered at all as it had been allegedly composed in a wrong way. In
general, the formation of the precinct commissions took about 5 minutes. Nobody
read any lists of member of the precincts commissions – the people were told
they would have an opportunity to look it all up in the district newspaper
afterwards, everybody voted unanimously for those who were introduced in the lists
of commission members,’ said observer Valery Karankevich.
Mr. Karankevich also stated that only signatures in support of A.Lukashenka and
the candidate of the BPF Party Ryhor Kostuseu were passed to the Khotsimsk
District Election Commission. 2,500 electors signed in support of Lukashenka,
and just 365 people – in support of Ryhor Kostuseu.
