Central Election Commission continues ignoring violations made by Lukashenka’s campaign team
The
citizen of Aziory (the Hrodna region) Kanstantsin Dzmitryieu received an answer
to his complaint to the Central Election Commission, signed by the CEC Chairperson
Lidziya Yarmoshyna.
The complaint concerned a conflict that started in the town of Aziory when the officer of the local
agricultural farm Mikhail Karshakouski told his subordinates to bring
signatures for signing in support of Aliaksandr Lukashenka during the working
hours. Moreover, the signature sheets in which the people had to sign contained
the member of another collector of signatures, A.Kuzhelinau, deputy Chairperson
of the farm on ideological work. The worker of the farm Kanstantsin Dzmitryieu
was proposed to sign for Lukashenka though he doesn’t even have the Belarusian citizenship.
However, during its field visit for checking-up these facts the CEC didn’t find
any violations. The representative of the CEC whose name remains unknown didn’t
even meet with Mr. Dzmitryieu.
