Orsha: ‘Fair World’ appeals against results of formation of precinct commissions
On 4 November the Orsha
town committee of the Belarusian Leftist Party Fair World lodged a lawsuit to the court of the town of Orsha and
the Orsha district.
The plaintiffs ask the court to abolish the ruling of the Orsha Town Executive
Committee of 2 November 2010 concerning the formation of the precinct election
commissions, because no candidacies had been discussed and voted during the
appropriate sitting, as a result of which it was impossible to understand why
five representatives of Fair World hadn’t
been included in the precinct election commissions of Orsha.
A similar lawsuit was filed by the Orsha district committee of the party, which
considers unlawful the non-inclusion of four members of the party in the PECs of the Orsha
district.
