Krychau: democrats complain against non-inclusion in precinct election commissions
Krychau activists of the
United Civil Party and the NGO BPF Adradzhenne
appeal the non-inclusion of their representatives in the precinct election
commissions at the Krychau District Court.
BPF Adradzhenne nominated to the PECs
Mikalai Herdzei, Nadzeya Ivanova and Uladzimir Kudrautsau, and the UCP –
Mikalai Fiadoranka and Tatsiana Liaiputsina.
’None of them were included. The PECs were formed at the sitting of the Krychau
District Executive Committee on 3 November. The candidacies proposed for the
commissions weren’t discussed. There are more candidates than places in some
commissions as a result the opposition representatives weren’t included in
them. I suspect that the number of nominees was intentionally increased by the
authorities to have a good excuse for leaving the oppositionists outside the PECs,’ commented the
editor of the Volny Horad newspaper
Siarhei Niarouny.
