On 6 November the observer Siarhei Housha (pictured) received an answer to his complaint against the failure of the Baranavichy City Territorial Election Commission to inform him about the date and place of its sitting. The Central Election Commission gave no legal assessment to the actions of the Baranavichy CEC and confined itself to reporting that a check-up had been held on the facts that had been set forth in the complaint.

Siarhei Housha had also proposed the CEC to amend its ruling of 15 September 2010 ‘so that the territorial and precinct election commissions will inform the accredited observers about the date and time of their sittings. In the CEC answer (signed by its Chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna) it is stated that the CEC recommends all territorial election commissions to put the information about the date and time of their sittings on their websites or post special ads in advance.
