Brest Fair World activist keeps appealing election restrictions
Ms. Liudmila Dzenisenka, chair of Brest city office of the Fair World leftist party, has lodged a complaint with chair of Brest regional court against an earlier decision of Brest Leninski court, which upheld an administrative refusal to include the party’s representatives on local election commissions.
The politician reiterates her claims, arguing that the district court ignored the party’s arguments on lack of uniformity in applying legal provisions during the formation of Brest election commissions.
‘In particular, contrary to a statement by Brest Leninski court, there are no representatives of political parties on the election commissions of Brest ballot stations #32 and #43,’ said Ms. Dzenisenka. Besides, the activist argues that the trial failed to investigate all the facts and violted several procedural provisions.
