Chairperson of Homel Region Executive Committee advises students to ‘elect the one you know well’
Aliaksandr Yakabson, the
Chairperson of the Homel Region Executive Committee, a proxy of the candidate
for President Aliaksandr Lukashenka, delivered a speech before students of the
Mazyr Pedagogical University.
’I am well-informed, have a great life experience and the experience of work in
the organs of self-government. I don’t know any of the candidates but the
incumbent President,’ confirmed his ‘well-awareness’ the official.
He characterized President as the man who ‘loves his fatherland, Belarus, consistently
and insistently defends the sovereignty of the state’.
’I won’t appoint a man to a high position if I don’t know him well enough, as
serious mistakes are inevitable otherwise,’ explained Mr.Yakabson. That’s why
he advised the youth to ‘election the one you know well’.
