Biaroza District Executive Committee violates legal terms of answering to candidate's proxy
Anatol Sakharusha, a proxy
of the presidential candidate Ryhor Kastusiou received an answer from the Biaroza
District Executive Committee to his complaint concerning the failure of the
Biaroza District Executive Committee to include the town of Malech (which has
about 2,000 dwellers) in the list of the places where candidates and their
proxies are allowed to hold canvassing events.
The answer was delivered with
violation of the legal terms, on 2 December afternoon, though officers of the
executive committee promised to do it in the morning, so that Mr. Sakharusha
would have some time to inform the local dwellers about a meeting with the
candidate in Malech.
A. Sakharusha is informed that the ruling of the district executive committee
of 10 November 2010 won’t be abolished, but electoral mass events can be
conducted in conformity with the legislation, which means that an application
for a mass action must be filed with the authorities 15 days before the action.
