National-Bolsheviks detained for anti-Lukasneka picket
About ten people took part in the first pre-electoral picket of National-Bolshevists. The leader of the Belarusian National-Bolshevists Yauhen Kontush stated that the action's aim was to protest against the policy of the current authorities.
Several activists were standing near the Yubileynaya hotel holding a streamer, all the rest were handing out leaflets, which said that ‘the police system of state government created by Lukashenka did not bring any positive achievements. Whoever but not him!’
Unknown persons in plain
clothes detained one of the activists who stayed there after the action had
been stopped, and the journalist Anton Taras. Both were transported to the
Tsentralny District Police Department of Minsk. They were released after a
conversation with the head of the police, informs BelaPAN.
