Homel: independent observer sent away from electoral precinct

An independent observer Uladzimir Anfilau has been sent away from electoral precinct #22 in the Tsemtralny district of Homel.

According to a coordinators of the civil campaign For Fair Elections Vasil Paliakou, the observer was sent away for taking a picture of the seal on the early voting ballot-box. According to Mr. Paliakpou, the head of the election commission, the provost of Homel State University Siarhei Hanenia told the observer that it was not allowed to take pictures without permission of the precinct election commission.

Mr. Anfilau is going to appeal his removal.
