According to Salihorsk independent observers, numerous violations are registered every day at the town’s polling stations. Violations include incorrect ballot samples and interference of election commissioners with secret voting.
Representatives of election commissions have been extremely slow in accepting violation complaints, e.g. Belarusian Helsinki Committee observers Loban and Yermakovich received an unmotivated refusal to their complaint.
