According to information received by the Human Rights Center “Viasna’, dozens of people applied for medical aid, after riot police violently broke up a 10,000 protest rally in Minsk Nezalezhnastsi Square. There are also reports of at least 100 detainees. Presidential candidate Uladzimir Niakliayeu is currently in the intensive care department with severe head injuries, reports say.
