On 13 January the Tsentralny District Court of Homel
punished a civil activist Kanstantsin Zhukouski with 8 days of arrest upon
Article 17.1 of the Criminal Code, ‘disorderly conduct’.
Bear in mind that Mr. Zhukouski had been detained on 13 January near the KGB
building n Biletski Street,

Homel where he was waiting for his friends who had been interrogated at the time.
According to him, he was also shooting the monument to Felix Dzerzhinsky on
video.
The testimonies against him were given by KGB officers Aliaksandr Litvinchuk
and Aliaksandr Shadzinau who stated that Kanstantsin Zhukouski had used obscene
language near the KGB building.
