A journalist Henadz Barbarych was detained in the club named after Dziarzhynski. He was taking interviews of the prisoners' wives. The KGB officers approached him, asked his documents and the aim of his being there. Then they took him with them.
The prisoners' relatives now wait in the club named after Dziarzhynski - the KGB culture club - in order to pass parcels to their close people, because they have been prohibited to stay near the prison building. The authorities do not want them to create an unfavourable view. The relatives have to wait there for several hours each day to pass something to their close ones, reports “Nasha Niva”.
