Charter'97 editor Natalia Radzina in exile in Kobryn
charter97.org editor Natalia Radzina, released from KGB detention center, on January 30 in the evening arrived in Kobryn where she will stay udner the written undertaking not to leave the country.
"Me and the mother was fetched in a car by friends. We were seen off
with many flowers. There were many friends and journalists. Many thanks
to all of them", Radzina told Belapan news agency
According
to Radzina, she reached home at around 20:00. She reiterated that she
would continue carrying out her journalism activities.
Radzina
does not have her passport, and she will live with her parents. The
journalist is forbidden to leave Kobryn without investigator's approval.
Natalia Radzina is among 37 people who are charged with taking
part in mass riots on December 19 in Minsk. If convicted, they may be
imprisoned for up to 15 years.
