One of the 42 people accused in the criminal case of mass riots in Minsk, 58-year-old Aliaksandr Arastovich, has been released from the KGB detention centre on recognizance.
Aliaksandr Arastovіch is the senior deputy head of the steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (People’s Assembly). Arastovich was Statkevich’s representative, informs BelaPAN.
Let us remind you that Arastovich was arrested after December 19 events in Minsk. His family had not known anything about his whereabouts for two days. A lawyer on duty informed his relatives that the politician was in the KGB detention centre only on December 22.
