Aliaksandr Silkou summonsed to KGB
Aliaksandr Silkou, an electioneering agent of Aliaksei
Mikhalevich and an activist of the organizing committee of the Party of Freedom
and Progress was summonsed for an interrogation.
The KGB officer Aliaksandr Tserakhau phoned him and insisted on his coming to the
KGB department at 3 p.m. for an interrogation as a witness in the criminal case
concerning the events of 19 December in Minsk.
Aliaksandr Silkou didn’t participate in the protest actions in Minsk. On the Election Day he was engaged
with the coordination of the independent election monitoring in Mahiliou and
the Mahiliou region. The activist said that the interrogation could be
connected to the recent statement by Aliaksei Mikhalevich about the use of
torture by the KGB.
By the way, immediately after the election KGB also interrogated another
electioneering agent of Aliaksei Mikhalevich in the Mahiliou region, Ales
Chyhir.
