Since 29 December, the lawyer has been denied meetings with his defendant, Andrei Sannikou’s affiliate Dzmitry Bandarenka.
The investigation secrecy
does not allow him to tell the details of the interrogations, but it is known
that Dzmitry Bandarenka was brisk.
In prison, the politician’s health problems have aggravated. His wife Volha Bandarenka
informed website charter97.org that in his recent letter he referred to his
health condition as satisfactory. ‘Knowing him I assume that it is bad: joints,
ulcer, and the worst thing is that just before 19 December he had been in
hospital twice – because of spinal hernias his leg is nearly numb, it’s hard for
him to walk…’ Volha Bandarenka said.
