Zmitser Dashkevich is threatened with a maximal sentence and black hole in the colony
An officer of the military counter-intelligence paid a
visit to Zmitser Dashkevich, Chair of the Young Front, who is kept in
the pre-trial prison in Valadarski
Street in Minsk
on charges of malignant hooliganism.
He threatened Zmitser with a maximal term of imprisonment and spending the
whole term in the black hole of the colony for refusal to collaborate. Thus,
the pressurization of Zmitser Dashkevich continues, thought the official
charges have been already presented and the trial has been appointed on 21
March.
Zmitser Dashkevich had been detained on 18 December 2010 together with another
activist of the Young Front, Eduard Lobau. Both of them are charged with
especially malignant hooliganism (Article 339, part 3 of the Criminal Code) and
face 3-10 years in jail.
