Palazhanka summoned to KGB for interrogation
The girl accused of Dec.19 case does not exclude that she may be arrested again in connection with the activities of members of the Young Front aimed at releasing its members.
According to Palazhanka, KGB members have been interrogating regional
activists of the organization and now it is her turn. However, the girl
says that she is trying to avoid thinking about Ales Mihalevich’s story.
"I
do not know anything, I am going to enter KGB now, nobody has warned me
about anything, they just phoned and told me to come. I do not think
that Mihalevich’s story may repeat. It is the first time I have been
summoned there this month so the interrogation may seem quite logical.
They have been interrogating members of the Young Front and it is my
turn now”, - said Nasta.
The sudden interrogation in KGB may be
connected with the Day of Belarusian Solidarity marked on the 16th day
of every month, says Palazhanka. Activists conduct actions of solidarity
and hold portraits of the arrested on this day every month. The lawyer
of the accused has set off for the interrogation with her. The
interrogation has already started. The deputy head of the Young Front
was suddenly released on recognizance from KGB detention on February 17
having spent two months in jail.
