On 16 March, the administrative commission of Hrodna Leninski district fined local youth activists Volha Bahdanovich and Katsiaryna Herasimchyk BYR 350,000 each, detained on 11 and 12 February for posting opposition stickers around the city.
The girls were summoned to the commission’s meeting and say they were going to attend it. However, an hour and a half before its beginning they were pushed into a car by police officer Andrei Shkliar, who escorted them to the district administration building.
On 18 March, Hrodna Leninski District Court is due to hear the administrative case of Ms. Kastiaryna Herasimchyk on charges of disorderly conduct.
