According to Kisliak, he disseminated 35 copies of the bulletin "Don't Fear!" before detention.
The human rights activist has informed to BelaPAN that he was detained at 6 p.m. in Lenin Square near the city executive committee's office building. He was disseminating the bulletin "Don't Fear!", issued by the Belarusian Committee for Defense of Victims of Repressions "Solidarity". The bulletin contained demand to released all the people detained after the presidential election on December 19.
"They delivered me to the Lenin district department of internal affairs, where they made me give explanations, and confiscated 45 copies of the bulletin which I hadn't managed to hand out, — Kisliak has said. — At 7 p.m. they gave me a copy of the protocol of confiscation and informed I was free. Then the policeman on duty told me I needed to be fingerprinted. I refused. They put me back to the preliminary detention cell. At 8.30 p.m. they let me out. The policeman asked once again whether I was ready to give fingerprints. I refused again. Then they returned my personal belongings, including glasses and bootlaces, and let me go".
"People should know what is happening in the country after December 19. Besides, no permit is necessary for dissemination of information, according to the Belarusian legislation", — Kisliak has said.
