The appeal was sent to
the Constitutional Court
by the Belarusian MPs who discussed “the Polish issue” after the 19 December events.
Bear in mind that Aliaksandr Lukashenka accused the official Warsaw
of preparing a coup d'etat in Belarus
after the election.
On 7 April, a representative of the Constitutional
Court claimed that certain norms of the Polish law
On the Pole’s card did not correspond
to certain standards of the international law. It is unclear how the court’s
position may affect the issue of the cards to Belarusian citizens in the
future.
