Biaroza: journalist Tamara Shchapiotkina banned to come out because of Lukashenka’s visit
According to preliminary
information, Lukashenka will visit the silicate plant bought by businessman
Yury Chyzh for 380 million rubles a few years ago and he may also visit the

Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s visit has created obstacles for human rights activist
and independent journalist Tamara Shchapiotkina. A major from Byaroza District Police
Department visited her at 8 p.m. on April 6 and informed that she would have to
stay at home on 7 April. When the journalist asked what would happen if she
went out, the response Tamara Shchapiotkina got was: “You will be detained”.
