Picket on Chernobyl anniversary prohibited in Hrodna
The organizer of the action Vadzim Saranchukou will address to the public prosecutor's office for explanation of legal reasons for this.
The applicant for a picket, head of the BPF party's city branch Vadzim Saranchukou received an official reply from the city executive committee today.
The officials refer to the law "On mass events", namely, to
Article 4 "Organizers of mass events" and Article 5 "Application for
conducting mass event".
"One can make a conclusion from their response that I am
either not a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, or have not reached 18,
or do not have the right to elect", — Vadzim Saranchukou comments.
He will address to the public prosecutor's office for explanations of
legal reasons for prohibition of this picket.
