On 26 March – 1 April
Uladzimir Laptsevich, a journalist with the information agency BelaPAN served
an administrative arrest term in the Mahiliou isolator.
After his release he was issued with a bill according to which he was obliged
to pay 28,000 rubles (about $8) for the prison meals. However, he had just two
meals there, in the evenings of 29 and 31 March. During all other means he
refused from the prison food and put his signature in the appropriate prison
register.
In his complaint the journalist asks Mr. Krasnou, Chair of the isolator of the
Mahiliou Region Executive Committee, to count everything once again.
