Viktar Statkevich has not been granted a meeting with his son, without explanation of reasons, though the elderlyman had arrived to Minsk deliberately to see his son, as considering his age, any meeting with his son could be the last one, Belarusian partisan informs.
Moreover, Mikalai Statkevich’s wife Maryna Adamovich was not able to pass a parcel: it had not been accepted. Maryna Adamovich believes that Mikalai Statkevich could have been transferred from the KGB prison to a different institution, without informing his family.
We remind that the sentence to Mikalai Statkevich was among the harshest ones: 6 years of imprisonment in the colony with reinforced regime for organising ‘mass riots” on 19 December 2010.
