Some 20 participants of yesterday’s protest in downtown Minsk have stood trials this afternoon.
As a result, all of them were found guilty of committing an offence under Art. 17.1 of the Administrative Code (disorderly conduct) and sentenced to fines ranging between BYR 70,000 and BYR 1,050,000.
One of the detainees – Usevalad Yatskou – was reportedly questioned by the KGB before standing trial at Minsk Tsentralny District Court.
