Trials of participants of silent protest actions in different parts of Belarus

Some of the detained participants of the silent protest action held on 29 June in Minsk have been given charges and are being tried.

The Savetski District Court of Minsk

1. Anton Charviakouski – 700,000 rubles;
2. Kanstantsin Falkou – fined 875,000 rubles;
3. Yahor Kazei – fined 875,000 rubles;
4. Palina Kur’yanovich – sentenced to 15 days of arrest under Article 17.1, “disorderly conduct”, by Judge Pauliuchenka;
5. Maksim Sarychau – fined 700,000 rubles;
6. Maksim Shved – the trial was postponed till 1 July;
Valer Tumilevich – fined 700,000 rubles.


The Leninski District Court of Minsk

1. Aliaksei Astapenka – sentenced to 10 days of arrest by Judge Mikhail Khoma;
2. Yury Bakur – sentenced to 15 days of arrest by judge Mikhail Khoma;
3. Aliaksei Dudar – fined 875,000 rubles;
4. Dzmitrou – sentenced to 8 days of arrest;

5. Dzianis Liukovich – sentenced to 10 days of arrest;
6. A. Mendzialeyeuski – fined 945,000 rubles by Judge Mikhail Khoma;
7. Nichypar K. – 700,000 rubles;
8. Viktar Khanenia – fined 875,000 rubles;
9 . Yauhen Shymanski – sentenced to 14 days of arrest by Judge Mikhail Khoma.

Six more trials are expected to take place at this court on 1 July.


The Maskouski District Court of Minsk

1. M. Hubanau – fined 525,000 rubles by Judge Yury Sezin;
2. Aliaksandr Khmurchyk – fined 525,000 rubles;
3. D. Rashchynski – fined 525,000 rubles by Judge Sviatlana Bandarenka;
4. V. Shyla – fined 525,000 rubles by Judge Sviatlana Bandarenka;
5. Raman Svechnikau – fined 525,000 rubles;
6. Anton Tuzhykau – tried by Judge Yury Sezin.


The Frunzenski District Court of Minsk

1. Aliaksandr Arapinovich – fined 875,000 rubles by Judge Karovina;
2. Yul’yan Sarachuk – fined 875,000 rubles by Judge Karovina;
3. Uladzimir Shastseryk – sentenced to 10 days of arrest by Judge Liudmila Lappo;
4. Stefan Sytsko – sentenced to 10 days of arrest by Judge Karovina;
5. Uladzimir Tsiareshchanka – fined 875,000 rubles by Judge Karovina;
6. Dzianis Yukhnouski – fined 875,000 rubles by Judge Karovina
7. Siarhei Zakreuski – fined 875,000 rubles by Judge Tatsiana Cherkas;
8. Eryk Z’yakau – sentenced to 10 days of arrest by Judge Liudmila Lappo.


The Chyhunachny District Court of Homel

1. Natallia Belas – the trial was postponed to 7 July;
2. Yauhen Lapanau – sentenced to 7 days of arrest;
3. A. Panau – fined 105,000 rubles;
4. A. Samarodau – fined 105,000 rubles;
5. Ruslan Ustsimenka – the trial was postponed to 7 July;
6. K. Yarmolenka – fined 105,000 rubles;
7. Maksim Zdaravets – sentenced to 6 days of arrest by Judge Yaraslau Paremski;


Zhodzina

Ales Lapitski – sentenced to 5 days of arrest;
Piatrou – sentenced to 5 days of arrest;
Siarzhuk Salavei – sentenced to 5 days of arrest.

All three were tried by Judge Mikalai Samoila.


Salihorsk

Illia Shyla – sentenced to 7 days of arrest;
Ivan Shyla (his elder brother) – sentenced to 10 days of arrest;
Sviatlana Shyla (the mother) – fined 700,000 rubles;
Uladzimir Shyla (the father) – sentenced to 15 days of arrest;
Andrus Tychyna – sentenced to 13 days of arrest.
