Internal Ministry refused to transfer political prisoner Dashkevich closer to his father

Viachaslau Dashkevich, the father of the political prisoner Dzmitry Dashkevich, asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to transfer his son to another penal colony, closer to home.

As it is stated in the answer, signed by S. Pratsenka, Deputy Chair of the Penalty Execution Department, the colony for Dashkevich’s imprisonment was chosen back in April 2011. That’s why the Department sees no reasons to change its decisions.

We should remind that Viachaslau Dashkevich’s wife, Dzmitry Dashkevich’s mother, has died recently.
