Katsiaryna Radzivilka, the pregnant woman who was arrested on 3 July during the silent protest on Pryvakzalnaya Square in Minsk, had a miscarriage. Her husband was detained together with her and is serving an arrest term.
This awful report which could be hardly believed, first appeared on our forum and in social networks. An eyewitness wrote that thugs in plainclothes seized a young pregnant woman and threw her into a paddy wagon. Appeals and persuasion to spare the woman were met with aggression of policemen in mufti.
The young woman was released from the Kastrychnitski District Police Department two hours after detention, and her husband who had been sentenced to administrative arrest is to get liberty only on Wednesday, 13 July.
