On 24 August, Minsk police detained Stanislau Ramanovich, as he attempted to lay flowers outside the Libyan embassy to Belarus.
The youth was detained by plainclothes law-enforcement agents after he was forbidden to lay flowers outside the embassy building and attempted to ask for the embassy’s staff permission. He was then pushed into a police bus, ordered to switch off his mobile phone and questioned.
After that, Mr. Ramanovich was taken to the police station and interrogated again. He was eventually released without charges two hours later.
