Vaukavysk-based democratic activist Vital Huliak was
fined 1,050,000 rubles for handing out invitations to the People’s Assembly,
appointed on 8 October 2011.
Judge Shukaila considered his actions as unauthorized picketing in support of
the People’s Assembly, though the defendant told that he hadn’t stood in one
place but had handed out the leaflets while walking.
