On 18 September, a severe illness cut short the life of Mrs. Halina Siamdzianava, 65, a prominent figure of the Belarusian opposition movement, former member of the Supreme Soviet of the 12th convocation.
She left us a key figure in the history of the Belarusian movement
for independence. We will always remember her as an energetic and
brave, touching and sympathetic person, whose main principles in
life were truth and justice.
It is extremely sad and hard to speak about such an irreversible loss for all of us...
We are mourning together with the
family and friends of Halina Siamdzianava
and express our deepest condolences to all her friends
and associates.
