Judge Natallia Vaitsekhovich of Minsk Tsentralny District Court sentenced Uladzimer Yaromenak to 12 days of administrative arrest and Nasta Palazhanka to 11 days of arrest for alleged violating Art. 23.34 of the Administrative Code (violation of procedures for organization and conduct of mass events).
The activists were detained this morning in downtown Minsk as they were trying to hang out white-red-white flags to commemorate the 20th anniversary of proclamation of the state symbols back in 1991.
