Kanavalau claims tortures at interrogation on April 18
Dzmitry Kanavalau refused from his earlier testimony at the interrogation on April 18.
He denied that he had any connection with the blasts in Vitsebsk in 2005. He told the investigator that he had confessed in those crimes under the pressure of the policemen after his arrest on April 12. When the investigator asked what kind of perssure it was, Kanavalau answered that they had used violence, reports BelaPAN.
He told that two policemen put him flat on his stomach and stretched his handcuffed arms under the legs which were crossed behind. According to Kanavalau, they ordered him to give evidence about the blasts in Minsk in 2008 and 2011, and in Vitsebsk in 2005.
Alongside with that, Kanavalau stated at that very interrogation that he admitted his connection with the blasts in Minsk in 2008 and 2011.
