Autukhovich is also persuaded to sign pardon petition
According to human rights defender Aleh Volchak,
Mikalai Autukhovich is subject to a continuous pressurization, like all other
political prisoners. By the way, on 8 September he served a half of his prison
term, which means that the prison administration could ask the court to
mitigate the punishment and change it to personal restraint, home arrest, etc.
However, instead the administration keeps drawing on violation reports.
According to Volchak, Autukhovich is deprived of food parcels and meetings with
his wife. At the same time he is persuaded to sign that he confessed his crime
and promised to mend his ways, and the petition to Lukashenka to pardon him.
However, Autukhovich refuses to do it. In response, the prison administration send
provocateurs in order to find reasons to increase his prison term.
Bear in mind that Mikalai Autukhovich had been sentenced to 62 months of
imprisonment, allegedly for unlawful keeping and trafficking of five cartridges
and a hunting gun. He is kept in the penal colony in Ivatsevichy.
