Judge Tatsiana Adrybets of Homel Chyhunachny District Court has dismissed a complaint by local opposition activist Kastus Zhukouski against illegal actions by the policemen on 11 October.

According to Kastus Zhukouski, he was handcuffed to a radiator on the premises of Chyhunachny Court, after he asked for the Judge’s permission to attend the administrative trial of Valery Sliapukhin, one of local activists involved in the organizing of the People’s Assembly.

Kastus Zhukouski also argues this was one by order of Judge Tatsiana Adrybets.

“This is how they are publicly lying in court; I have twenty witnesses, saying that the trial was held behind closed doors during lunch break, while the Judge claims the opposite. Judges fear nothing; they tell lies, because they know their lies will be fronted”, says the activist.
