Several prayers for Belarus
have taken place in Brest.
Nobody was detained at them, but the police put down the personal data of their
participations every time.
Recently one of them, coordinator of the organizing committee of the Belarusian
Christian Democracy Party, Zmitser Shurkhai, has been summoned to the police.
Policemen asked him whose idea it was to arrange such prayers and how the
information about them was disseminated. Some other participants of the prayers
have been summoned to the police as well.
The BCD activist considers it as a means of psychological pressurization, but
states that this won't stop people from continuing prayers for Belarus.
