Mahiliou: entrepreneur Liudmila Krylovich summonsed to KGB
The woman received a telephone call from a man who
introduced himself as a KGB officer. He wanted to invite her for a talk, but
she demanded to be issued with a summons.
“He told me that he wanted to talk about the strike which was allegedly
prepared by me. However, it's lies, nothing is done for the preparation to a
strike at the shopping center “Preston” where
I work,” tells the woman.
She thinks that this telephone call may be a result of the disagreements the
entrepreneurs have with the “Preston”
administration.
“I received a note with the information that the administration wouldn't extend
the rent agreement with me for the next year, though there are free places
which can be lent. The administration is dissatisfied with the fact that I
actively protect my rights, as well as the rights of other entrepreneurs. I was
also told about it orally,” comments the activist.
Now she is going to demand written explanations for the decision not to extend
the rent agreement, and will try to appeal against it with the assistance of human
rights defenders.
Bear in mind that Liudmila Krylovich was the initiator of the assembly of “Preston” entrepreneurs this summer. The reason was that
the administration of the market wanted to evict the people from their working
places, using the repairs on the second floor as a pretext. After finishing the
repairs the administration intended to lend the space to somebody else, but the
entrepreneurs managed to protect their right to work.
