Attention! Urgent press-conference
On 15 December representatives of Belarusian human
rights organizations and civil movements will voice an urgent address to the
public concerning the criminal case of the head of the Human Rights Center
“Viasna” and vice-President of the International Federation for Human Rights
Ales Bialiatski.
The head of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Zhanna Litvina, the head
of the movement “For Freedom!” Aliaksandr Milinkevich, the head of the
Belarusian Helsinki Committee Aleh Hulak, the head of the Assembly of
Democratic NGOs Siarhei Matskevich and the deputy head of the HRC “Viasna”
Valiantsin Stefanovich will take part in the event.
The press-conference will take place at 10.30 a.m. in the office of the Human Rights
Center “Viasna” (Nezalezhnasts Avenue, 78a-48, Minsk).
