EU expands sanctions against Belarus after Byalyatski's trial

The EU's press-center has informed that two officials who participated in the trial against HR defender Ales Byalyatski were included into the "black list".
This step is explained as a response tot he repressions against the civil society, the political opposition and the independent media. Now the list consists of 210 people, notes AFN.
Let us remind you that apart from the list of banned officials, the EU froze the actives of 3 Belarusian companies and prohibited shipment of weapons and items which may be used by the authorities for internal repressions in Belarus.
