KGB doesn’t return passport to Dashkevich
On 4 January Anastasia
Palazhanka filed a complaint to the General Prosecutor’s Office in connection
with the refusal of KGB to return the passport to her fiancé Zmitser
Dashkevich.
KGB deputy chief Tertel told the girl in August “the question of sending
Dashkevich’s passport to penal colony #9 in the Mahiliou region will be solved
in the order prescribed by the law”.
Palazhanka says the preliminary investigation bodies did not send Dashkevich
passport to penal colony #9 or penal colony #13. Anastasia Palazhanka and her
fiancé Dashkevich have been sending appeals and complaints to the preliminary
investigation department and KGB since August 2011. Zmitser Dashkevich has not
received any replies.
Palazhanka asks the General Prosecutor’s Office to “take urgent measures to
send the passport of Zmitser Dashkevich to penal colony #13 in Hlubokaye”.
On 24 March 2011, Zmitser Dashkevich was sentenced to two years of imprisonment
by the Maskouski District Court of Minsk for violating part 2 of article 329 of
the Criminal Code. Dashkevich served sentence in penal colony #9 in Horki until
September 19, 2011 and was then transferred to penal colony #13 in Hlybokaye.
