Baranavichjy:Mikalai Charnavus summonsed to police

On 8 January police major Vital Dabrachynski passed a summons to the Baranavichy entrepreneur Mikalai Charnavus. According to the document, Mr. Charnavus is summonsed to room #106 of the Baranavichy City Police Department as a figurant of administrative proceedings.

Mikalai Charnavus thinks it can be connected to the association of Baranavichy Ukrainians “Kobzar” headed by him. Bear in mind that on the New Year's eve the activist had applied for authorization of a picket on 25 January. By means of this action he intended to inform the public about the refusal of the authorities to provide room for the legal address of the NGO, thus depriving it of the opportunity to get registered with the state.
